Volunteer in January

Individual Volunteers

January is the perfect time to start or re-start your volunteerism!

If you are new to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama (RMHCA), we welcome you. Volunteering is a rewarding way for you to learn more about our mission and positively impact our guest families.

RMHCA offers financial, emotional and many other support services to sick or injured children and their families through two main programs: the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room at UAB Women & Infants Center. Between the two, families benefit from 76 comfortable sleep rooms for good rest; volunteer-provided meals and snacks that nourish; and spaces where they can socialize with families or meet with staff to support their emotional well-being.

Our programs are free of charge to guest families because of our amazing volunteers and donors!

We are excited to ramp up our volunteer engagement following a wonderful winter holiday season. Learn more about how you can help this month.
