Thank you! Your recent gift to RMHCA has given families like the Caldwells peace of mind during a stressful medical journey.
Greyson has several conditions that have created uncertainty for his health. Doctors diagnosed him with 5p- Syndrome, also known as Cri Du Chat, and VDS, which will require heart surgery. Greyson has club feet and colostomy bag, and is on a ventilator to support his lungs while he grows strong enough to have the heart surgery.
The stress of managing Greyson’s health is balanced by the comforts at the Ronald McDonald House. Greyson’s mom, Jasmine, and his maternal grandmother, Janelle, are currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
“The Ronald McDonald House helps us a lot, because we have a comfortable place to sleep…to take a break from everything going on and meet other families. It makes a big difference to connect with families and people who know what you’re going through,” Jasmine says.
Being able to connect with other families going through similar experiences has helped Jasmine and Janelle immensely. Jasmine adds that the things she took for granted before — a comfy bed, hot shower and dinner ready every night — are all taken care of by volunteers and staff.
“Having a fresh shower and a comfortable place to sleep allows us to bring positive energy to Greyson,” Jasmine says.
In an uncertain time, YOU have given Greyson and his family love, comfort and more at the Ronald McDonald House. Thank you!
