Thank you Hill Crest Foundation

After caring for hundreds of families, this well-used and much loved House needs a makeover. With an average of a 97% occupancy rate, our guest rooms need constant love and attention to provide the comfort we promise the families who need our services. Since opening this House in 2007, the rooms have been completely renovated. Fresh paint, new Tempurpedic mattresses, bright, cheerful new quilts, complete with fresh pillows and matching shams can go a long way. We also pulled up the carpet and laid down laminate hardwood so the rooms will be easier to clean and keep sanitary and free from germs.

This Spring, we completed the renovation of the final 13 guest rooms needing the updates. Hill Crest Foundation, a long-time supporter of RMHCA, participated in our Adopt-a-Room Program to refurbish not just one guest room, but four. Hill Crest is a foundation that supports charitable organizations — this gift supported their initial investment made during our 2007 capital campaign to build the new House on 4th Avenue South. By updating the rooms, Hill Crest once helped to build, we were able to maintain their investment.

We were honored to have Charles Terry Senior and his wife, as well as, Charles Terry Junior in attendance for our room ribbon cuttings in May.
