Red Shoe Run 2015 LOGO Red Shoe Run was fun and a little chilly in 2015! It was inspirational to see everyone who laced up in 20 degree weather to get their best time, follow up on a resolution or running/walking with a team supporting a family.   Thank You  sponsors, volunteers and participants for supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama. Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey sent by  Allison Stone, Race Director from Cadence 180 Consulting.  We could not put on the race without her assistance and your feedback helps us improve the race experience from year to year.

Family Stories

Red Shoe Run-McNutts

This year we had two families, both had top 5 fundraising teams, walk up on stage to share their story.  Below are the links to the videos taken on race day.  Check them out if you missed the interview with Britton Lynn, Fox 6 reporter.

McNutt Family, Team McNutt Strutt raised $1,500 and had 37 members on their team

Smith Family, Team Spitfire raised $1,240 and had 16 members on their team

Online Fundraising

The Red Shoe Run was an amazing fundraiser this year, exceeding our expectations.  This was largely contributed to the fundraising individuals and teams did online.  Thank you for your time and hard work advocating for our mission.  The Red Shoe Run fundraising pages will be turned off on February 10, 2015.  We will be launching our Group Give Online Fundraising Application  on our website later in 2015 so check back if you, a school, company or club  are interested in on-line fundraising for Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham, AL.

Pictures, Pictures Pictures….

Several photographers were roaming around taking pictures throughout the event. You might find one of you crossing the start or finish line.  You will find pictures with your team, with friends and our special guest, Ronald McDonald. Better yet, you might find one of you getting a medal because you ran fast to keep warm.   Enjoy! Red Shoe Run Awards 2
