Make an impact! National Estate Planning Week
October 17-23, 2023 is National Estate Planning Week and it’s the perfect time to start thinking about your own plans!
National Estate Planning Awareness Week was established by Congress and the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils in 2008. In 2021, the NAEPAC estimated that more than half of Americans do not have an updated estate plan.
Why is having an estate plan important?
Estate planning can create foundation of security for your family and benefit a charity you care about, like RMHCA.
The NAEPAC explains that an up-to-date plan can protect your assets and help ensure they are transferred according to your wishes. An estate plan can include a will, charitable bequests, beneficiary designations, health directives and more.
How can I learn more?
