Deadline extended! Pop Tab Pandemonium school registration closes March 15

High school students dropping off pop tabs at Pop Tab Party

Educators, there is still time to register your school in the 2023-2024 Pop Tab Pandemonium contest!

Registration will now close at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024.

In order to qualify for a Pop Tab Pandemonium award, schools must be registered before the deadline and have their tabs weighed by an RMHCA team member at a Pop Tab Party.

Pop Tab Pandemonium

So, you’ve registered! Here’s what’s next

Schools should bring their pop tabs to one of the annual, springtime Pop Tab Parties that happen across the state.

RMHC of Alabama staff will weigh the tabs and present a special certificate to each school. Winners are announced after the final Pop Tab Party.

Winning schools are determined by the total pounds of pop tabs divided by the number of students enrolled in their particular schools. The winning categories honor both public and private schools. Categories can include: Most Pounds Collected Overall; Top Elementary School; Top K-12 School; Top Middle School; or Top High School.

I want to collect or recycle tabs but I’m not part of a school. How can I help?

All are welcome to collect tabs for recycling! We invite all pop tab supporters to drop tabs at the annual Pop Tab Parties. You could also help your local school by donating your tabs to their collection. Find out which schools are registered here.

Thank you for supporting sick children and their families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.
