Clouds cleared away for the 16th Annual Ronald McDonald House Golf Classic
Wow, what a day for the Ronald McDonald House Golf Classic!
When we arrived at the course early on Monday, May 1, we were dressed for rain and cold but we were soon putting on our shades and shedding our jackets!
This year, more than 150 golfers packed the Ridge and Valley courses at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley.
We are excited to share that this year, we raised nearly $95,000 from the Ronald McDonald House Golf Classic!
After registration, the players enjoyed a biscuit breakfast, provided by McDonald’s, and entered for a chance to win some great prizes like a Full Moon BBQ gift pack, a Nike gift card and stay at a luxury hotel.
The golfers peeled off at 9 a.m. to enjoy a scramble-style play across the courses. By then, the sun had cleared away the clouds and made for a beautiful day.
After completing the course, the players met back at the clubhouse to enjoy a delicious lunch from Jim ‘N Nick’s and learn who won an award for best team score, longest drive, and others.
For this year’s awards, we incorporated special artwork created by some of the families staying at RMHCA. Below you will find a list of our winners!
