October 15, 1974 is the anniversary of the first Ronald McDonald House to open in the world. Around this date each year, we invite you to celebrate the impact that McDonald’s crew and customers make for families with sick children through the RMHC Donation box and Round-Up programs at McDonald’s. #DayofChange

Every day is a day of change when you Round-Up for RMHC.

When you Round-Up for RMHC at your local McDonald’s, your change makes a HUGE impact! You help keep families together during a medical crisis. Parents can focus on their child’s care instead of worrying about where to sleep or how to pay for groceries.

Each year, Round-Up for RMHC raises enough funds to cover approximately 7,000 nights for guest families. To put it in perspective, RMHC of Alabama must fundraise enough to provide 36,624 nights each year!

Celebrate with us on October 20, 2023!

1. Wear your Day of Change t-shirt! Post a photo on social media tagging us @rmhcalabama so we can see your support.
2. Thank your local McDonald’s crew for supporting Round-Up for RMHC when you visit the drive-thru.

Another way to celebrate! RMHC of Alabama staff will visit select McDonald’s locations throughout October to give away small gifts (while supplies last) to thank the community for your support of Round-Up for RMHC. Check back soon for those locations and dates!
