Capstone Development Partners donates school supplies to RMHC of Alabama families

Backpacks for RMHC of Alabama families?! That’s right, even school supplies can go a long way to relieving stress from our guest families when their child is in the hospital.
Understandably, our guest families aren’t thinking about school supplies when caring for their sick or injured child,” Director of Family Life April Dickerson says. “Donations like the one from Capstone Development Partners enables RMHC of Alabama to support the entire family.”
Capstone Development Partners develops on-campus student housing across the U.S. and their employees know how important it can be to give young students as much support as possible for a bright future. Families are already under a financial burden traveling for medical care. Providing school supplies helps relieve the financial stress and keep parents from having to leave their sick child to shop for supplies. Oftentimes, donations like these help a sibling who is back home to be as successful as possible!
“Our core mission is supporting education, so collecting school supplies for elementary/secondary school students is a way we can do that at a local level,” says Robert B. Brown, VP of Asset Management. “With that vision we sought assistance from the United Way who linked us with Ronald McDonald House who we’re so fortunate to support because of the important role you play in our community.”

While RMHC of Alabama doesn’t always need school supplies, we are always restocking home essentials like cleaning supplies, paper goods and more. Thank you for your support!
