We are saddened to share the passing of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama co-founder, Max Cooper. We could never thank this man enough for all he did for the families, staff, volunteers and the extended family of RMHCA. Giving means the same thing in every language. This video from Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Taiwan shows how your change can go a long way helping families who call RMHC home -- no matter how little or how much you can give. All money is handled by a third party and stays local to the McDonald's you donate at. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqCE9wytTfs
By adopting one or more of our guest families here at #RMHCA, your generosity will help provide the love and support they need to get through a difficult time. #LoveOurDonors #LoveOurFamilies #Wekeepfamiliesclose
These twin girls were born premature and both spent several weeks in the NICU. Each little one was discharged from the hospital several days apart from the other. Luckily this family was able to stay at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama so they could stay close throughout the whole process. #WeKeepFamiliesClose so they can get through the hard times. These baby girls are now home together, but their parents will always remember their first days outside of the hospital here at #RMHCA.
It is hard to believe we are already half way through the year, isn't it?! Our annual Red Shoe Run is in January, but it is never too early to start getting ready for the big day! You can already register at www.redshoerun-bham.org as an individual or a team -- remember as a participant you can set fundraising goals for yourself and for your team (plus you never know there might just be goodies involved for the highest fundraisers). Register today and help families stay close when they are #inBirmingham for their child's medical treatment. :) #RSR16 #LoveOurSupporters
